Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any side effects of edible bird's nest or Tibetan cordyceps?

Since bird's nest is 100% natural, you can feel assured there are no side effects associated with its consumption.

How are edible bird's nests harvested, and what kind of processing do they undergo?

Edible bird's nests are harvested three times a year from each bird's nest house to ensure optimal quality. The nests are collected after the young birds have matured and left, respecting the breeding cycle of the swiftlets. The harvesting process involves spraying water around the nest, gently scraping the nests with a thin knife, and cleaning them manually using specialized tweezers and clean water. Afterward, the nests are freeze-dried to maintain their quality. Unlike some companies that use bleach for cleaning, we prioritize the manual cleaning method to ensure product quality and optimal consumer health.

The nests are then sorted based on size, weight, color, and cleanliness before being processed for export. They undergo animal inspection and must meet the HACCP Codex 2020 certification.
